That is a cool trailer! Finally something really character-focused, with more of the Earth stuff. Makes me want to see the movie even more!

With the “go Woola–GO” type of stuff from the TV spot, some more Dejah, some of Giaccino’s score and some new stuff it would be just right. Nice mix of the teaser’s cold and trailer #1’s hot.

if I had a cleaner version of this trailer I would be tempted to splice the trailers together and make my own . . . . . maybe I should give it a go anyways

Eric, I just had the same thought. I wish someone with the know how would edit the 3 trailers and 2 TV spots and put them all together.
      Please do it.

  4. Uh oh, John Carter has a dead baby. People alerady had kittens when they learned he had wife, what are they going to say about that.

Actually . . . that is more acceptable to me for some reason

It is more tragic, and it shows that John Carter is a man capable of commitment and love . . . . .

Plus they appear to die in a fire . . . something that on earth, John Carter could have not stopped . . .

It makes John Carter feel . . . I dont know, it makes him feel alive . . . Because being who he is, wasnt enough on earth

But on barsoom, being who he is . . . is what the world needs

‎”My dear Edgar, I remember how I used to take you on my knee and tell you wild tales, which you always did me the great courtesy of believing. Now you are grown. Time and space have parted – but I reach out across that distance to that sam…e wide-eyed boy and ask him to believe me once more. This wild tale begins thirteen years ago, in the Arizona Territory, between the Pinetree Mountains and the backside of hell. The war between the states had ended a year prior and as I am sure you know the tragedies on the battlefield extended into my home.”

Wow, they say all that in the trailer? Some of that should definitely be in the next US trailer.

Hey, Jeff thanks for the way better link over on facebook! Much better quality

  7. Best trailer yet. Needs Woola, though.

I’m one of those people who doesn’t like that John Carter has a dead family (not that much of a difference between a dead wife and a dead wife and a dead daughter, though, so no need for any additional griping here). However, if the movie will work well enough otherwise I can live with it, I just don’t think it was the best way to go with the character.

And Merry Christmas for everybody. Or Happy Holidays.

if I had to give carter a family before barsoom, it would be used to illustrate the tragedy of his immortality watching his family slowing age in front of him!

I am with you on this, but they seem to be handling it pretty well

I thought I was going to be angry, but I wasnt
