I’m just posting a few, and I’m not looking too closely at this stage. Have fun discussing them 🙂

Is that Matai Shang and the Tree of life there in the cave-carving?

All I know is that the barsoomian letters on the wall when translated are gibberish
which is highly offensive
I have tweeted at andrew stanton, I suggest you all do the same

I don’t see why that matters. Most people aren’t going to look that closely at them anyway.

So what are you basing this translation on? ERB said that all Martian nations have a different written language (and a different spoken language in the Valley Dor). Did the movie-making people come up with a script that they’ve posted somewhere? (I’m only aware of one example of ERB providing an example of Martian script.)

If ERB provided an example of martian script I would like to see it H.R.H (I am only aware of him making the amtorian language)
And yes, the movie making people did come up with their own language which they have posted
And it matters alot, because if you create a system and dont do it . . . its pure laxyness

I think it’s a Thern (could be Matai Shang) and the tree of life.
I think the carving of the woman with arms outstretched in Issus.
She is also seen in the pre-production art that Eric uncovered.

Good eye Eric,
I saw a bald guy to Carter’s left hand as he was being transported.
