By the Gods of Barsoom this looks wonderful…..

You have GOT to see this. It’s like nothing else we’ve seen before. Now we get a proper clip from the movie, the real soundtrack and more ! As for the screen caps, sure we’ve seen John Carter wipe hordes in comics before, but I’ve never seen anything like this on screen. Nope. It looks like we’re finally getting a truly fierce ERB hero on screen for the first time. Fierce man, fierce. – Jeff

HELL yes! Hands down the best footage I have seen to date. If I wasn’t onboard before, I certainly am now! πŸ˜€

Freakin’ Awesome! The White Ape scene was perfect. Well staged and photographed, with excellent FX and riviting music. Also loved JC fighting for his life in the middle of a pack of Warhoons.

That is John Carter . . . ERB would be proud.

And I’m getting my tickets the instant they’re available. Can’t wait to see it in an IMAX theater.

Anyone know if this will be shown NOT in 3D? I wanted my wife to come with me, but she is staunchly against 3D, claiming headaches. 😐

    • I’m sure it will be – you might have to wait for theatre listings though.

  6. WOOOOOW!! That is just astoundingly good! I swear those are real Tharks cast straight from Barsoom! The whole CG angle is just to hide the fact that we’ve been visited by Martians. πŸ˜‰ hehe

  8. I can’t wait to watch the John Carter movie, this film looks like a very good storyline and a new genre (I just found out that this film comes from the novel after reading from the web). Could this film be able to compete with Avatar?

I hear this film in its production cost is high enough. I hope this film can eventually enter the ranks of the box office!
